On Saturday 12th September 2026, our incredible Trailwalker teams will set off from Queen Elizabeth Country Park. They will walk, jog, or run 100km across the beautiful South Downs, meeting their support crew at nine checkpoints along the way. Trailwalker is the ultimate team endurance event - a true test of camaraderie, mental fortitude, and physical stamina. Teams must complete the course in under 30 hours to become #TrailwalkerStrong. Those looking to really test themselves, will have to match the pace of the elite Gurkha teams, who typically complete the course in under 11 hours! Each dedicated team member has pledged to raise £300 for the Gurkha Welfare Trust, giving Gurkha veterans and their families in Nepal the means to live with dignity. To our runners and their generous sponsors, we'd like to say a huge "Dhanyabad!" (Nepali for "Thank you"). With your help, we pay Welfare Pensions to Gurkha veterans who put their lives on the line to fight for Great Britain, and provide medical treatment at home for veterans and widows living in the remotest villages in Nepal. We also improve the lives of communities in Nepal, constructing new water systems to bring clean water to thousands of doorsteps, and rebuilding schools which in turn give Nepali children the education they deserve.
